Metirium's plan of works
Typical traditional projects do not have clear cutoff between stages. Stages overlap, one bleeding into another. Generally, there is an attempt to tender before all details are finalised. Stage 4 tendering creates a hard stop and unfinished designs become a cost risk. Short duration (often 3 weeks) to tender a multi-million pound project in incongruous to the nature of complexity that the design team have spent months/years on. This results in poor prices, costly errors and the likelihood of various disputes.
The Metirium metholdogy eliminates these problems by following a controlled, concise cyclical method. We ensure any issues are ironed out early to not encounter any setbacks. Our methodology consists of a number of stages and deals with the issues quickly and cohesively, as we have in-house Design Managers. We take full design liability as a D&B but if we’re engaged from the start of the process there will be more time for us to sort out any problems.
This results in an outcome that is delivered flawlessly and produces a thoroughly considered, well-rounded building.
