We were commissioned to design and create a sophisticated business lounge that would serve as a welcoming retreat for tenants in the building. The result is a stylish and versatile hub packed with premium features, including stepped seating for presentations, a state-of-the-art Sanomat coffee machine, elegant banquet seating, and a sleek wooden-panelled wall with a hidden storage room and an integrated TV. Comfortable sofas add a relaxed touch, completing the space.

The design thoughtfully incorporates a mix of flooring to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal. Wooden herringbone flooring runs through the main areas, offering a timeless and elegant look. Meanwhile, carpeted zones around the sofas and banquet seating add warmth and comfort, making these areas even more inviting. This combination not only defines the spaces but also enhances the overall practicality and visual appeal.

The coffee and kitchen area is perfect for early-morning coffee moments, with the TV providing a subtle backdrop of entertainment or information. The seating layout has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate a range of activities, from casual team calls to focused presentations. The stepped seating is especially brilliant for group settings, allowing everyone to have a clear view while a presenter takes the lead. For added flexibility, a voile curtain can be drawn to section off this area, creating a private and intimate atmosphere when needed.

To enhance the ambiance, we incorporated low-level lighting from dropped bulkheads and used deep blue tones on the walls and ceiling, creating a cosy and moody atmosphere. This design choice beautifully contrasts with the lush greenery, making it a standout feature of the space.

This lounge area balances both practical and luxury, serving its purpose and meeting the client’s brief.
